“Matter Gives From”
Students in grades 7 through 11, as well as a few grade 5 and 6 students,
will be presenting their artwork in this show.
東北インターナショナルスクールの中高生が中心メンバーとなって、コラージュや油絵、写真などの作品を展示します。
There will be collages exploring the different themes students have
reflected upon in Robert Frost’s poem “Into the woods on a snowy
evening”, and a variety of oil paintings from around the world that
students have reproduced.
生徒それぞれ、コラージュの作品では
ロバート・フロストの詩「雪の降る夕方森に寄って」から着想を得て、自分の作品で扱うテーマを考えました。また、世界の様々な絵画を観賞していく中で興味を持った作品を選び、油絵で模写してみることによって鑑賞をさらに深めてみることにも取り組みました。
